We Grew Up. Our Passion Didn't.
We grew up during a time when anime wasn't nearly as mainstream as it is today. We wore our favourite characters proudly, connected with others through the stories we loved, and found inspiration in worlds that stayed with us long after the credits rolled.
As we grew older, our tastes evolved. We wanted clothing that reflected the things we loved without necessarily putting them front and centre.
That's why we created Nakama Threads.
A different approach to anime-inspired apparel. One that blends our love of the culture with original designs, subtle references, and a more considered approach to what we wear.
Because growing up doesn't mean letting go. It just means we wear it differently.
