When we first launched, our focus was clear: create subtle anime-inspired merch that fans could wear every day with pride. But in the excitement of bringing our vision to life, we built our first website hastily—more as a quick vessel to showcase the dream than as the polished home our community deserved. It worked for the launch, but much like an early arc in a hero’s story, it wasn’t the final form.

The Redesign: From Raw Potential to Mastery

This redesign marks our next chapter. We stepped back, reimagined the experience, and rebuilt the site to better reflect the values we’ve carried from the beginning: subtlety, sophistication, and community.

Alongside the site, we also refined our logo. The original was tied to our launch collection, but as the brand grew, we knew we needed a mark that could stand on its own. The new logo separates Nakama Threads from the early merch, carving out a distinct identity for the brand itself. It’s more than a symbol—it’s our flag, one that represents not just where we started, but where we’re going.
